DRIFT The server
Terms.
The terms for the website and for play on DRIFT EU. The server rules on the home page are part of them.
The service
DRIFT runs the website at driftrust.com and the Rust server DRIFT EU | 2X Solo/Duo/Trio | Ocean PvP | Weekly at 157.85.87.201:28016. It is a weekly EU server for a crew of up to three, at 2X rates. DRIFT is not affiliated with Facepunch Studios or Valve Corporation. Rust is a game from Facepunch Studios. Steam is a service from Valve.
Using the site or joining the server means you agree to these terms, the server rules, and the privacy notice.
How to connect
The server card on the home page opens Steam to 157.85.87.201:28016.
From the F1 console: client.connect 157.85.87.201:28016
The live chip on the site is a visual mark. It is not a promise that the server is online at the moment you look.
Server rules
These are the rules published on the site. Break them and staff can remove you from the water.
- No racism. No slurs, hate, or harassment, in chat, on voice, or on signs.
- No cheating. No hacks, ESP, or aim assist. If it is not in the game, it is not allowed.
- No scripts, macros, or client mods that play the game for you.
- Max team is three. No alliances, no ghosting, and no feeding a bigger crew.
- No bug abuse. If something is broken, leave it and tell us. Do not farm it.
- The admin word stands. Take a disagreement to the DRIFT Discord. Do not ignore it on the server.
Staff can warn, kick, or ban the Steam account that breaks these rules. Appeals go to the DRIFT Discord at discord.com/invite/driftrust.
The weekly map
The map is weekly. Bases, loot, and items on the map do not carry to the next map. DRIFT can restart the server, close it, or change rates, monuments, and plugins. There is no promise that the server stays online, or that a base, a boat, or loot will still be there when you return.
Pearls
Pearls are an in-game balance on DRIFT. You earn them by playing. Linking Steam on the site grants a one-time 100 Pearl welcome reward the first time you join the server while linked and online. Linking again, or on another computer, does not grant the reward a second time. Type /pearls to see the balance and /shop to spend it.
You can place a bounty with /bounty set. That spends Pearls from your balance and pays the player who claims it. If nobody claims it within an hour, the Pearls come back. A bounty is claimed only when another player gets the kill.
Pearls are not money. They have no cash value. You cannot sell them, trade them for real money, or move them to another Steam account. Staff can correct a balance. The store on the account page lists Pearl packs and VIP for your linked Steam account. All store sales are final; we do not offer refunds. For billing or delivery help, contact staff on Discord.
Your Steam account
Link Account is optional. You sign in with your own Steam account. You are responsible for that account. Do not link an account you do not control.
Use of the site
Do not attack the site, interfere with the account link, or try to read another player's record. The pages, the DRIFT name, and the DRIFT logo belong to DRIFT. Rust, Steam, and the Facepunch name belong to their owners.
Liability
DRIFT is a community server, provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, DRIFT is not liable for lost loot, a wiped base, downtime, a ban, a Pearl balance, or anything Steam, Facepunch, or your own connection does. Nothing in these terms removes a right that the law of your country does not let us remove. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, your statutory rights stay in place.
Contact
Talk to us in the DRIFT Discord.
Changes
When these terms change, the new version is published on this page. The date at the top is the date of this version. Using the site or the server after a change means you accept the page as updated.
How we handle a linked Steam account is in the privacy notice.
